Many rumors surround Philipp Plein company.

One is about the possible acquisition of Roberto Cavalli company from investment fund Clessidra.

It is not clear the reason why a Swiss flashy company that grew in 20 years from zero to 250 million euro as a group (of which 205 million from Philipp Plein brand) should have interest in buying a troubled fashion brand that, since its founders departure, has never been the same and has struggled setting up a clear growth strategy and focused on just layoffs, creative directors rapid turnover and boutiques closures.

A very bold Philipp Plein himself recently declared that he has no intention of selling the group he has created and is planning its future growth.

Maybe just for the sake of crowning himself as the founder of a luxury group? Are they ready for this?

20 years is a remarkable anniversary, that apparently was due to be celebrated at the NY Fashion Week with a Kanye West performance.

Until West wife, Kim Kardashian posted on Twitter that Kanye was not going to perform at any of the NY Fashion Week events.

Certainly a cold shower for the Plein team. And no plan B.

It happened that Plein staff felt victim of a scam.

How is that possible?

Ready for expanding the group?
