I had the privilege to see Elisabetta Franchi on stage at the CEO Roundtable organized by Fashion Marc Sondermann on November 8th.

It was like… “wow”.

Elisabetta Franchi, one of the few women in the Italian fashion system, founded her eponymous “ultra feminine” brand in 1998 thanks to a little bank loan.

She developed her dream into a powerful Brand with a turnover of 110 million euro in 2017, an international distribution and a recently inaugurated showroom in Moscow.

She bought back the quotes of her company (25%) she had sold in 2013 to a private equity fund.

During the “happening” at the Roundtable she proved a very ironic and down-to-earth designer and entrepreneur focusing on the power of emotions to attract loyal customers and showing a masterpiece keynote of her values.

She dedicated her life also to the protection of animals funding shelters and allowing employees to go to the office with their own pet.

Last, but not least, she is an Instagram star with 1,3 million followers. She tells the story of her life (Lamborghini rides to Riccione for a night out or baking cookies with her children on Sunday afternoon) as well as her collections developed for women like her: strong, empowered, daring.
